Christina Laczko for T/E School Board

"I believe that a high-quality education should not be dependent on hired tutors and external, supplemental, educational services. As a school district, we need to provide a level of instruction to all children, from special needs to gifted"

Born in northeast Pennsylvania, Christina is a strong advocate for public schools. She thinks that growing student achievement, encouraging excellence in reading and math at all levels, and exercising fiscal discipline are key to the success and sustainability of the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.

Christina is a operational efficiency expert who works with large pharmaceutical organizations to decrease their costs, improve operational outcomes, and better utilize their assets. She has an MBA in Finance from Villanova University, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a B.S. in Chemistry, and and additional B.S. in Business Administration. Christina was the first person in her family to attend college, and knows first hand the value of a high-quality public education.

If elected to the Tredyffrin/Easttown Board of School Directors, Christina will use her expertise to implement operational reviews for the development of cost-saving procurement processes, optimize building utilization, and better manage assets. If our buildings and administration run efficiently, we’ll have more resources to invest in our teachers and children.

Christina and her husband Bill have lived in Easttown for 17 years, with their 12-year old daughter Elizabeth and two cats. You might recognize Christina from the YMCA where she is on the Membership Board, and is a Swim Association Parent Representative. Christina and her family are members of St. Norbert’s Parish where she is greeter. In her spare time, Christina volunteers to help people reinvent their resumes to find new jobs.
